CARL Prins, the green energy millionaire and the recent buyer of Bronte’s most expensive home, is selling his redundant eastern suburbs abode.
Prins is seeking $3.9 million for the 1910 Federation-era Waverley home he bought with wife Kate for $2.8 million in 2013.

They spent $17.9 million on the Gardyne St home of lawyer Sarah Druce and her stocktrader husband Keiran Horth earlier this year.
The Waverley home was bought shortly after Prins stepped away from his CFO duties at hedge fund Arrowgrass Capital.
There are four bedrooms across the home’s two levels. There’s a formal lounge with stone finished gas fireplace, as well as the open plan kitchen, living and dining area which opens to a rear Travertine terrace, the pool and a sunken level lawn.
Earlier this year Prins co-founded, and now runs PathZero, in his words a simpler, more affordable way for small businesses to go carbon neutral.
The start-up, which lets small and medium businesses measure their carbon footprint and reduce their emissions, closed a $1 million seed investment this week with the former Westpac chief executive Brian Hartzer taking a stake.
Prins’ 1914 Gibson St, Federation home comes with a Tesla powerwall which was installed in late 2017.
The installation saw a decrease in the power bill from about $4000 annually to $600 due to the battery and solar combination.
Chris Volpati at McGrath has it listed for November 7 auction.
